Ricardo de la Torre
Born in Mexico City, Ricardo de la Torre started piano lessons at age thirteen. He received a Master of Music degree from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and recently graduated with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. R icardo is a dedicated teacher who enjoys working with students of various levels and backgrounds.

Denise McCoy
Denise enjoys catering her lessons toward each piano student's particular needs and goals. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Music Education at CU-Boulder. Denise believes that if students are taught to enjoy and appreciate music, their creativity will develop naturally.

Erin Keller
Erin Keller has been playing piano for 26 years, beginning when she was five years old. She has in-depth knowledge of piano techniques and repertoire, and has taught private piano lessons for 6 years. She has experience as a church and choir accompanist and uses piano daily in her teaching at Florida Pitt Waller K-8 where she is the music teacher.

Ron Troester
Ron Troester hails from Nebraska where he earned a masters degree in music from the University of Nebraska (Lincoln), and was a choral instructor in junior high/high school/college for 23 years. He has been a voice instructor since his career began, directed choral festivals in over 30 Nebraska communities, and a state contest adjudicator for soloists and choirs in Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa, and Kansas.

Jonathan Cole
Jonathan Cole, baritone, is from Dallas, Texas and just completed a residency at the Boston University Opera Institute where he was named a Phyllis Curtin Artist. In addition to extensive work at the Opera Institute, Jonathan has worked in various performance capacities with other institutions such as Central City Opera, the Newburyport Choral Society, Boston Lyric Opera, Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, the College Light Opera Company, and CU New Opera Works, to name a few. Jonathan is winner of competitions such as the Crescendo Music Awards, the National M.T.N.A. Competition, and several N.A.T.S. competitions. He holds a performance certificate from the Boston University Opera Institute, a Master of Music from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Music from Baylor University. Jonathan is currently working on his Doctorate of Musical Arts in Voice and Pedagogy at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Hugh Lobel
Hugh Lobel is classically trained but has played in several bands, and tries to teach the skills necessary to work towards the student’s individual goals. Hugh prefers a holistic approach to teaching, and believes that students should follow their passions when deciding what music to learn, augmenting this with exercises that develop technique and performing ability.
