Education
Cobus received the highest grade in South Africa for the Trinity School of Music Piano Grade 8 exam. Piano was also his minor for the first two years of his Bachelor of Music degree.
 

Liz Comninellis

The student will choose literature with council in regards to difficulty level and musical benefit. Foundational technical exercises in scales, arpeggios and chord recognition, etc. will be addressed weekly. Students will be instructed in basic musicianship and artistic interpretation.

Kristin Vredevoogd

Fundamental musicianship and piano skills are addressed using the Suzuki or Alfred methods and books.  These skills are then implemented in the genre and interest of the student.  Each student is of course an individual, requiring guidance in his/her path to reach his/her potential.
Education
Kristin received her BA in Music, emphasis in voice, from the University of California, Santa Cruz.  She received her Masters in Education from Loyola College in Maryland.

Denise McCoy

My teaching method is based off the type of music my student would like to study, and I will provide the technique to accomplish their goals.
Education
Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Montclair State University; I am currently working on a Master of Music in Music Education with a concentration in Vocal Pedagogy from CU Boulder.

Catherine Compton

Education
Ms. Compton graduated summa cum lauda with a Bachelor in Music Education from Iowa State University. She is currently working on a Masters degree at the University of Colorado-Boulder, where she studies voice with professor Julie Simson.
Philosophy
Ms. Compton's piano lessons are grounded in technique, music theory and developing musicianship and expression. She focuses on meeting individual interests and needs by utilizing a variety of methods that help student progress and achieve their goals.

I am partial to the Alfred books but there are many great methods out there.

I have a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from SUNY Potsdam and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy form CU Boulder.
