Denise McCoy

Teaching Method (not limited to)
Denise's teaching method is based off the type of music my student would like to study, and I will provide the technique to accomplish their goals. She teaches various techniques such as Bel Canto, musical theatre, and contemporary 20th century.  For younger students, she focuses purely on vocal production and introducing the idea of sound created from the entire body. Alexander Technique could be used to teach. Her favorite composers to work with are Faure, Mozart, and Gershwin.
Education
Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Montclair State University; I am currently working on a Master of Music in Music Education with a concentration in Vocal Pedagogy from CU Boulder.
