Education
Paul holds a bachelor's degree from Vassar College with honors, and also studied at the New England Conservatory and Harvard University as an undergraduate. His graduate studies were in viola performance (MM, 2006) and Music Theory (PhD, 2009) at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
Highlights/Performances
Paul Miller teaches courses in music theory to undergraduates and graduate students. Although his research centers around the music of Karlheinz Stockhausen, Paul has also appeared on stage as a violinist, violist and on viola d'amore at venues as diverse as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, and the Darmstadt International Vacation Courses in New Music in Germany.
