  • I like to use the method book that your student will be using in his/her school music program if school aged but will also help students decide what musical direction best suits their interests.  I will provide tailored music exercises for each student while recommending standard method books and repertoire.  There will be a good balance of fundamentals and creativity during each lesson.
  • Education
  • Greg received a Bachelors of Music Education from Metropolitan State College of Denver with an emphasis in instrumental music.  Before attending MSCD Greg performed on a local and national level with bands ranging from jazz and blues to world music.  His unique combination as a working musician and an academic will give students an exceptional experience.

    • Greg has performed at such venues as the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, the House of Blues in New Orleans, the High Sierra World Music Festival, and many many others.  He has also recorded with many different Colorado Bands.

    • As a music educator it is important to me to employ national music standards while finding a fun and creative way to explore music.  Each student has a different interests and reasons for playing an instrument.  Let me help you discover your inner musician.
