Dave has 14 years experience playing the guitar and roughly 10 years experience teaching the guitar. As a child Dave studied the blues styles of Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles to name a few. As he got older, he got more interested in 60s pop which eventually led to an interest in the jamband movement of the 1970s. Later, he found himself immersed in Bluegrass. Dave is excited to help students work on the music that they are interested in.

-
Dave believes that most people desire to play music in order to have fun and forget the stresses of everyday life. He wants to help students learn their favorite songs, help them write their own music or just develop more facility on the instrument. He feels it his job to encourage this fun and help each student reach for the next level in their playing.
