• Lessons will be structured to fit both the students’ and teacher’s goals.  Technique, music reading, ear training, and creativity will be covered in all lessons, but will be modified for each individual student.  Styles may include Rock, Jazz, Funk, New Orleans second line, West African, and Afro-Cuban.

• Education
• Bachelors in Percussion from Ohio University; Masters from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  Notable teachers include: Guy Remonko, Roger Braun, and Doug Walter.

• Highlights / Performances
• I have held a residency at Carnegie Hall, performed at the JFK Center for Performing Arts, and performed with a variety of well-known and established artists including Jeff Coffin, Michael Spiro, and Sarah Morrow.  Currently, I am freelancing in the Boulder-Denver area with several orchestras, funk bands, and jazz combos.  In addition, I also hold teaching positions at CU-Boulder, Boulder High School, and Watershed School.

• Music is a unique art form that can be enjoyed by anyone. Through lessons, I hope to encourage and inspire students to become thoughtful and knowledgeable musicians.
