In Boston, Josh performed with a jazz quintet and numerous other student based gigging ensembles. Since moving to Colorado, Josh has begun to venture into the wide world of Bluegrass and has been playing with several acoustic-based groups.

  • Philosophy
  • Josh believes that playing music is all about having fun, and the more you know the more fun it is. He feels that the lessons should be divided between learning the fundamentals (theory, scales, reading, practice technique, etc.) and learning tunes/songs to play and enjoy. However, every student is different and different approaches may need to be taken depending on the student's wishes and needs.
