  • Voice: Every voice is unique. We are taught at a very early age to "create" a voice based on things we see and hear. It is the instructors' job tohelp the student find their own unique song. This is done through examining the instrument and studing how to use it properly. Once that sound is easily attainable, the student learns how to utilize a full vocal color palette--also through proper positioning and placement. All vocal students are taught to read and write music. They are treated as instrumentalists who live on the inside of their instrument.
  • Piano: Every student is unique. Robyn believes in customizing the lessons to each students individual needs. She believes in utilizing a strong music theory base so the student may learn to read/write music as well as improvise on their instrument. The piano can be plaed in so many different ways and it is her belief that students should be exposed to and trained in multiple genres from classical to honky-tonk.
