Daniel Jang
Daniel Jang received his master’s in Violin Performance and Artists Certificate in Chamber Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He was a recipient of the Chamber Music Award and the first person to be presented the Dean’s Award for Service to the Conservatory. His teachers have included Dr. James Stern, Haroutune Bedelian, and Ian Swensen. Daniel has performed chamber music with members of the Juilliard String Quartet, Beaux Arts Trio, and Kronos String Quartet, John Adams, Ian Swensen, Jennifer Culp, Axel Strauss, Paul Hersh, Jean-Michel Fonteneau, and Bonnie Hampton. His performance of John Adam’s septet, “Shaker Loops” with the composer conducting was hailed by the San Francisco Classical Voice as being "the most fluid and involving performance among the dozen I have heard," and "exceeded even that of high praise." Other events include concerts with Haroutune Bedelian, Peter Marsh, Dan Jackson, Tin Hat, solo concerts with the Tulare County Symphony and St. Joseph Ballet, and performances in ACDA and MENC National Conventions.
