• Beth graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BM in Violin Performance from Hope College in Holland, MI.  She is currently pursuing a double Masters degree in both Violin Performance Pedagogy and Music  Theory at CU-Boulder.

• Highlights / Performances

• Beth has played violin with orchestras in several diverse venues across the country and in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Austria.  She was also a member of regional professional orchestras in undergraduate school.

            Philosophy

• Beth is an avid believer in maintaining balance between technicality and musicality in violin playing. She advocates not only a strong technical foundation, but a desire to help her students explore their expressive abilities.   Each student has a unique relationship with music, and she believes that an instructor’s role is to help every student to enjoy and have fun with music!
