Andre de los Santos has been teaching violin and viola since 1998. He has studied privately with members of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra the Cleveland Quartet and the Cavani String Quartet. Andre was also a former teacher of the Dallas Symphony's Young Strings Program. Andre has attended the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA and The University of Colorado at Boulder. Mr. de los Santos has appeared as a guest soloist several times in the Texas area.
Andre has attended such prestigious festivals such as Tanglewood, Musicorda and The Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music. Performance highlights include a solo appearance at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center and The Meadows School of the Arts as well as performances in Seiji Ozawa Hall and the CBS News Channel.
Andre actively enjoys playing chamber music and having solo recitals in the Boulder, CO area. Mr de los Santos has a diverse teaching method that is useful to pinpoint the needs of each individual student.
