We are proud to work with some of the best instructors across multiple disciplines. Our guitar and bass teachers have rocked the casbah. Our Percussion instructors have played professionally, our orchestral teachers have dazzled crowds, and our winds experts have dazzled audiences. Choosing the right instrument is an exciting first step on your musical journey! At our Lesson Studio, with over two decades of teaching experience, we’re here to help you find the perfect fit.
When choosing woodwinds and brass instruments.
These are best introduced around age 9 or 10, as they require more breath control and physical strength. We’ll guide you through the best age and technique for each instrument.
For Our Youngest Learners (Ages 5.5 to 7)
For young children, we recommend starting with instruments that are approachable and fun. Piano, drums, and voice are excellent choices. If your youngster insists on a string instrument, a ukulele is a great starting point, and for guitar, we recommend child-sized guitars to ensure comfort.
